My Thoughts on Drama

Its 2012 now where almost everything has turn around. It’s a whole new year, and it is a whole new life for us. Now, we have to face the whole new challenges in every aspect such as sports, academic, diet, financial and relationship. But inside this pain, we can see that a beautiful flower that shines our sight every day, it is Drama that we will learn in English Studies. It is a flower that looks pretty with dew drops on it. We love it.

For this week, we are required to blog on the following:

1. Would I be willing to spend my money watching an excellent play/drama? Why?
Yes. To us, watching a play/drama is like a once in a lifetime chance as it seldom held in our hometown. Other than that, watching a play or drama can give us a lot of input because play/drama usually portrays the real life of one or more individuals. So, by watching it, we believe it can influence not only our life, but also others. Therefore, we truly think the money that we spent is really worth it.

2. What do I expect from a good play?
In return of our investment, for sure we want a good play that will satisfy our heart for the whole day. The good plays that we expect to see are the good acting by all the actors and the actress especially the main character. The dialogue, the script, and the setting for the play should be according to the plan. The character must play their role efficiently because it will give a profound impact to the audiences.

3.  “Do I feel comfortable to act in a play? Why?”
Yes! We like this questions.  We even fight to answer this question. Basically, drama involves the presentation of a situation or the telling of a story in terms of some kind of physical action, whether it is that of savages dancing around a totem pole, that of strolling players presenting their characteristic given. For us, we are ready to act as anything in any play because we already got our own experiences in acting. Some of us were good in acting and acted for our ex-school before. Besides, we watched too much drama presentations and movies. Just order us to act anything. We are ready!
